A Chloris:quelle merveilleuse délicatesse! Le phrasé parfait, si difficile pour ceux dont le français n'est pas la langue maternelle, et qui ont du mal à faire la différence entre m'aime et même devrait servir de modèle.
Merci infiniment de rappeler cette merveilleuse artiste.

I wasn't a particular fan of MM's coloratura recordings, but I prefer her versions of Hahn's songs, recorded in the 1980s, to all others. Ninon Vallin's old recordings with Hahn at the piano are lovely, but far less intimately expressive than MM's.
