I beat the intire game, but wait till the last race, I had too do it over lots of times, think this track is hard, wait till the last stage.

@StepsToNowhere he actually didn't make it, the last second was a lot longer than one second. It was yet another game bug in which in didn't go to zero. Phil got robbed, but he didn't make it.

About the ending. Phil says he had retries left which is true, he had 1, however, from my understanding of how this game works is once you pass the final finish line (those red flames) that's the end of the race and you don't get any retries. If it'd been a 2/3 finish line then the retry would work, but not at the enf of the race with the final finish line.
