Sue Bookhout is an avid outdoors women, who loves to hunt, fish, and shoot. She is a certified NRA basic shotgun instructor. Based in Cazenovia, NY, Sue shoots trap for the Pompey Rod & Gun Club in the Central New York Trap League. She is also a certified dog trainer and has two German shorthaired pointers with which she upland bird hunts.

Sue received a B.S. in Natural Resources from Cornell University. She has worked for the Institute of Ecosystem Studeies, the US Forest Service, and as Director of Operations for the Aspen Global Change Institute.
