Two Coasters and a Dark Ride
Available for download on my web site!
Instead of making three separate videos, I thought it would be better to combine them into one. This video contains two coasters from my "collection" plus my first serious attempt to create a dark ride. Remember that I don't use Custom Scenery, everything you see comes with the game, and it's expansion packs.
Steven's Evil Laboratory
Excitement Rating: 6.85 (High)
Intensity Rating: 6.86 (High)
Nausea Rating: 4.30 (Medium)
This is my first serious attempt to create a dark ride. I used the "Wild Mouse" coaster type, which has several advantages over the actual "Ghost Train" rides that are included with the game, the most noticeable being the insertions! One of the main problems with the in-built ghost train is that a lot of the view is obscured, which does not make sense, as it is supposed to be a scenic ride! I obviously filmed this ride at night, as it looks a lot more realistic this way.
Wooden Hills
Excitement Rating: 6.50 (High)
Intensity Rating: 6.16 (High)
Nausea Rating: 3.73 (Medium)
This was originally designed to be a gentle roller coaster, for "beginners" and people who are not yet ready to face the more intense coasters, but I think these ratings speak for themselves.
Like A Record
Excitement Rating: 7.16 (High)
Intensity Rating: 5.68 (High)
Nausea Rating: 2.72 (Medium)
The name comes from the Dead Or Alive song from the 1980s of the same name, "you spin me right round baby, like a record!" I am sure you can make the connection here! It is a "floor less" coaster with a powered launch. It may look like it goes underground, but it does not.
The park also contains a boating pond, and several shops contained within the small buildings. I felt that the shops that come with the game do not look very realistic, therefore I used the "Custom" stalls, and placed buildings around them, even the toilets are enclosed within buildings! You may recognise the background, it was the same as what was used for the Indoor Pool 6.
Look out for the short Fireworks and Laser Show at the end!
As usual, no cheats or custom scenery were used.
I am now planning to create a new roller coaster, which brings us on to the next bit:
COMPETITION NOW CLOSED!!!
Don't get excited, there are no cash prizes here! The "winner" will get to choose the name of my next roller coaster!
I am planning to design another roller coaster, and the person who wins will be able to suggest it's name, and the coaster type. You will also have your name in the credits of it's video!!!
Here is the "question"
All you have to do is watch Steven's Indoor Pools 4, 5 and 6. You will notice that the water slides in each pool are named after characters in cartoons, one for each pool. The first person to post a comment here, correctly identifying the correct cartoon for each pool, will be the chosen winner! I will then contact you.
Terms and Conditions:
1. My decision is final.
2. Name chosen must not be offensive or controversial, or break any rules. Again, my decision here is final.
3. Your home is at risk, if you set fire to it.
Well, get to it!

When you wanna make a scary wood coaster try useing more loops and helixes. I accidently got a intenseity rating over 15.9 with just 4 loops and 14 helixes plus a water splash.

I see your point, but I just don't think that loops look good on wooden coasters.
