  • Montrachet yeast is not champagne yeast. They are different strains.

  • @Adol666 Another thing I forgot to say is that traditional Cider uses both sweet and tart apples. Tart cider apples contain tannins. Ive seen recipes that call for a bit of grape tannin. Something to consider

  • One thing you will find with alot of 100% juices is they are between 1050 and 1060 SG.  Welches, Apple whatever

  • The Woodchucks cider I am drinking right now from the store, is %5.0 I wouldn't mind it being a bit stronger, so I don't have to drink 6 of them to get silly.. :) Thanks for this video. Thinking about making my own organic hard cider. Appreciate the info.

  • So if I wanted to just use make my own cider using corn sugar/ dextrose; how much would I need to add to a 5 gal carboy?
