Beautiful film but pace is a little bit too slow for me.

I don't know what I think of it on its own but this flick would be great to use as background for something. Something creepy, possibly bugfuck insane.

The cinematography of that was wonderful, what was your method of creating that grainy blue and black TV look?

We shot in S-VHS (DV had yet to be invented!), edited in camera as we went. That transferred to VHS, which I filmed off of a TV screen all the way through so that the end zoom worked, that got a lot of the look. That then went through a basic colour mixer and picture softener (a little plug in unit, PC editing was still a few years away from affordability) to VHS, transferred to DV about 9 years later, ran it through Premiere to get the blacks back to black from grey and put it on here!
