  • @brittonseanweb After making my early comment about the violin, I bought a very nice 39 year old Spanish style classical guitar on Ebay for $130+shipping, in perfect condition. It was made in Japan when skilled craftsman were being payed basically slave wages, and when the preferred woods, that are practically extinct now, were readily available, where this was made with the best Honduran mahogany and Bavarian pine. A modern guitar to compare would be at least $5,000, and it sounds fantastic.

  • @jmdewey60 While I do not agree with such an abrasive approach to your comment. I completely agree you can get a great sounding violin for $200-$300. It works like PC parts, everything over a certain price point improves, but by only smaller amounts with each dollar amount.

  • ko main ngn mak ko lah.. mne jari aku pown x tau.. bangan.. cukur janggut ko nk? pantat mak ko lah..

  • @jmdewey60 ? thats exactly what I stated before that you said was ridiculous. However for a good retail instrument id advice spending atleast 5k so you dont have to upgrade in another year or 2.

  • @pmbazman15 OK, you as a person are not ridiculous, but what you said earlier sounded like it. Right, I bought a modern Romanian-made with a SRP of $1200 and it did not sound as nice as that old German does, so I am selling it. So, to go into a store and pay full retail for a new one, best bring $2k. or more.

  • @jmdewey60 ok but like you stated above it is worth 1500 retail, not 300 dollars retail. 1500 dollars is a good starting level violin but nothing really to perform with. So like I stated, If you buy a violin for 300 dollars retail then yes it will sound bad. Instead you bought a 1500 dollar violin for 136 dollars on ebay and twisted my words. So really how is what I said rediculous. Play a violin that costs 300 dollars and judge yourself if you dont believe me.

  • @pmbazman15 That's ridiculous, I bought a very nice intermediate level violin made in Germany in the 60's on EBay for $136 and it sounds very nice and is a wonderful piece of very good craftsmanship that maybe would cost about $1500 today. If one is lucky enough to find one like this, it is a great way to get into playing the violin. It does not sound like s##t and I will put up a video to demonstrate when I get a little more practice.

  • if i can play a guitar very well.. can i play this very well too??

  • @XxXxFRENCHHORNXxXx in what world are violins cheap? Maybe if you buy a violin that sounds like shit itll be cheap but in order for good sound your going to havta put out atleast 5 grand and atleast 1k for a good bow, and thats like amateur. As for teaching yourself how to play.... Good luck. but dont plan on getting past grade 2 without a guide
