Film is about Georgian architect Nikoloz Gegechkori, which is in New York 's prison Sing Sing since 1994 he has life sentence. They say he is repaying punishment instead of someone. When close friends ask him why? He answers: because of love. Film is also about the French woman who is a photographer, which fell in love with Georgian prisoner. She left her successful career and high social state in Paris and devoted her life to the man who was at a loss. When she is asked why? Her answer is also: because of love.
