@NickOLarse999 Perhaps. I think though that his pure talent was overlooked due to other more obvious aspects of his game - aggression. He marked superbly, had good pace, overlapped well and his tackle was first class - how many true hardmen of the game have such a low red and yellow card count as Pearce?

@catssunsetsmusic He did get paid very well. At his peak as a player he was on about 10% of Rooney's wage today.
