HElene Domergue is a Yiddish dance teacher living in Nimes, FRance, and taught workshops in Yiddish/Klezmer dance aboard the Dnieper Princess during the Klezmer Heritage Tour organized by Josh Dolgin and family in May 2007. Most of the group were of the generation that were actively familiar with Yiddish vernacular dance, and so this is some of the most authentic examples of klezmer folk dance, which is increasingly rare to see outside of Klezmer camps and workshops. This set is a common frylakhs dance, in several forms and movements.
