Reminds me of a twangin' Chet Atkins whom I'm familiar with when it comes to instrumentals of this type. Chet had a semi big hit with "Windy and Warm" but was no match for Johnny and the Hurricanins who blew onto the top 40 charts many times over with their instrumentals including "Red River Rock". Inst.were the big thing back in the Doowop era...i should know but the thing is not all was played here in these parts (Vancouver Cda), and that includes all this hillybilly rock and Rockabilly.
