A mini-documentary about the New York based jazz quintet led by legendary piano player Junior Mance. Includes live footage from The Blue Room of Kansas City.
Glad to see this! Was first introduced to live jazz by Junior Mance while visiting a friend in NYC in 1973ish. Great performer! Now that my son lives in Brooklyn, I'll be sure to catch him on my visits. Thanks for all the years of great music!
I just have to start the comments. Great listening to JAZZ and something other than a steel guitar. Also listen to someone my own age playing great music. Guess us old guys can still hack it!!!!This guy is great and my son and I are going to Knickerbockers tonight to listen to great music.
