I disagree with the people who say that angelo is not at the level of stochelo or birelli lagrene. If you watch the majority of the videos in wich they played together you can see how the shows have been plainly organized to put stochelo and lagrene in emphasis. they play for 3 minutes together with huge smiles, and then there is debarre who plays by himself behind the main scene. He is as talentful as them, and he is keeping a kind of gipsy jazz wich is narrow and full of traditional sounds.

Pour moi, parmi tous les grands du manouche ( mise à part Django le maître évidemment^^) que ce soit rosenberg, schmitt, romane et j'en passe, c'est Angelo Debarre qui par sa musique, sa virtuosité, ses valses comme Manège que l'on entend dans cette vidéo me fait m' évader. J'adore sa musique et j'espère qu'il continuera de nous hypnotiser avec son jeu. Merci à toi Angelo!!!
