R-Type Delta Stage 7 Checkpoint and Last Boss w/R9

This was played on Normal difficulty. This was my first time in this level. I didn't decide to record until most of the way through the stage. I got the hang of the final battle, and I decided to record my first victory.

*The music in this level! I love it. And the final battle surpasses R-Type Final's stage F-A boss for me, mostly because the music here is more epic during the last dance.

Notes:
-I plowed through Stages 5 and 6 because I have Free Play. I died a lot. Both stages were rough.
-I got killed first in this level by the DNA strands and had to fight through part of it bare.
-I died A LOT fighting the Bydo Core. It took me quite a few tries to get the hang of battle.
-Only the heads will kill you, not the tails of the Bydo spermatozoa.
-at 1:33 the Bydo Core steals my Force. I sat on top of it for a moment before I moved aside. I don't think it'll kill you if you stay on it, but I didn't want to take chances.

*Note about Notes: I was such a noob during this playthrough! These days getting through the game in one life is, well, expected of me on Normal.

@Childrenofthecornsno Haha, especially since this recording was my first victory over this boss. I even had a tough time in the real final battle in my no miss play. You can tell if you watch when I get forced into the upper right corner and I start scooting back kinda fast to the middle of the screen. My heart almost exploded at that part from tension. @dropthepin I bought a PSP because of R-Type Tactics, and I really, really wish it would get localized for NA. I really enjoyed RTT's story.

@Extremefighters From what I hear it gets even more insane in R-Type Tactics II, but SPOILERS, so don't read down if you want to keep the suspense.

In the Bydo campaign, you get to fight that "unknown enemy". Eventually you do return to Earth, but instead you get to fight the human construct that makes the Bydo. Plus, your return this time is misintepreted as a containment failure, causing humankind to banish that construct, which is implied to lead right up to the first R-Type, well, because.

@Extremefighters That's one hell of a mind-fuck. Maybe the Bydo are the physical manifestation of human evil. When we chose a peaceful way of life, all that evil HAD to go somewhere; negative energy doesn't just die. It's like saying the greatest or ultimate good is also the ultimate evil.

it is implied in R-types final that the Bydo are responsible for the creation of themselves... The Humans in the 26th century created the Bydo to fight an enemty in another galaxy... The Humans in the 22th century were peaceful and did away with war. When the Bydo came to the 2th century it forced the humans to start building weapons again and in the end set into motion everything that led up to the creation of the bydo... This also includes the war with the unknown enemy in another galaxy
