Tim Ellis - "Old School Collection" - Today Show (1988)

Tim was Buried Alive live on National TV, however there is a lesson to be learned from this clip. We were live on location when the director gave us the cue that the studio was crossing to us, so Tim goes into the box and it gets nailed shut. But instead of crossing directly to us, they first went to the pre-recorded interview so, when they finally did cut to us, Tim was in the closed box and the hosts in the studio (and the viewers at home) had no proof he was even in the box at all! That why George Negus looks so unimpressed and downright sceptical!
