Mentos & Diet Pepsi Prank

Pranking a fellow firefighter's 2 liter bottle of Diet Pepsi with a strategically placed Mentos tablet. We got the idea from http://www.prankvote.com/11.html. If you haven't seen that video, I highly recommend watching it.

did you do it by tying a small peice of string to a mentos, then leaving a little but of string hanging out, then putting the lid on to keep it there?

and when they open it it plops in and goes every where?

Yes, it was done exactly as shown on the prankvote site with the exception that two mentos tablets were used instead of just one. Also we didn't have any string so dental floss was used. You *might* be able to use 3 tablets, but beyond two, the tablets start being visible below the bottle cap.

Actually that's how you know *it was* well hidden. I was using my cell phone which was sitting underneath a television. He had no idea it was there.
