CNN's Anderson Cooper is told by Bush's former Chief of Staff that tv time is not his "air time", as they discuss the Republican lies about the $200 million for trip to India. This is wild. Is Andrew Card letting CNN know that the tens of millions of dollars of corporate political ads mean CNN must promote the interest of the funders of the Tea Party?

MSNBC is now outranking CNN in the primetime hours. Over the last two years, the primetime personalities on CNN have most often served as a sounding board for Fox Noise-like programming. Even often promoting the narrow LGBT agenda at the expense of informing its viewers on economic matters during primetime.

  • I say that it is tough for the first balck person to make everyone happy but after Obama , I hope that we have got the "first time" thing over with and the minority guy/girl that holds office next time can do it without so many false expectations of change in attitudes. I dont think gains in race issues can come from the top down. These days washington is not a place from where you can expect inspiration for that type of change. Theres no "one" guy that can do it.

Thank you for your good comments.

  • BOY THESE WHITE BOYS ARE REALLY PISSED THAT A BLACK MAN IS IN OFFICE.. WOW. WILLING TO TELL BOLD FACED LIES TO GET PUBLIC HATE DIRECTED AT OBAMA.. TSK TSK TSK..

  • @SiriuslyPtah

You're right. Sometimes it's just like moving back in time when blacks ascended to political power in the South following the Civil War. The KKK and other haters were fully in business, out and about to remove blacks from office and even lynched many of them. Today, they shall utterly fail with all of their devices. Even the wins in the House of Representatives is a temporary situation.

  • Anderson should have asked him "Whose airtime is it specifically sir?" That would have been a real spot to put him in.

  • @message2blackwomen

I agree. Anderson is not in his slot tonight, I guess he will return tomorrow.

You lose, you learn and you re-calibrate. Let's see if Harry Reid gets rid of the filibuster rule in the Senate. I recall that the "damn americans" were "dumb" for thinking Obama would be elected in 2008. We can and shall do it again.

  • damn americans are dumb if they believe that Obama will win in 2012

  • @RUDELUVMONSTER
