If You Could See Me Now
The One Who Said That She'd Rather Roam
The One Who Said She'd Rather Be Alone
If You Could Only See Me Now

If I Could Hold You Now
Just For A Moment, If I Could Really Make You Mine
Just For A While, Turn Back The Hands Of Time
If I Could Only Hold You Now

I've Been Too Long In The Wind
Too Long In The Rain
Taking Any Comfort That I Can
Looking Back And Longing For
The Freedom Of My Chains
And Lying In Your Loving Arms Again

If You Could Hear Me Now
Singing Somewhere Through The Lonely Nights
Dreaming Of The Arms That Held Me Tight
If You Could Only Hear Me Now

I've Been Too Long In The Wind
Too Long In The Rain
Taking Any Comfort That I Can
Looking Back And Longing For
The Freedom Of My Chains
And Lying In Your Loving Arms Again

I've Been Too Long In The Wind
Too Long In The Rain
Taking Any Comfort That I Can
Looking Back And Longing For
The Freedom Of My Chains
And Lying In Your Loving Arms Again

I Can Almost Feel Your Loving Arms Again.

  • Not really sure if I like the clip, but these chicks have been given a really hard time over a stupid comment. I thought the philosophy was to forgive and forget? Go Dixie Chicks. Love you guys. Xx

  • ya i don't think the video is to everyones taste a bit too soppy for some Lol but your right about them getting a hard time i thought the whole point of being american is freedom of speech well that's what they're always Bragging about anyways the chacks where a great Band though.

  • commenting on the fact that people are dissing the Dixie Chicks. these women have been making amazing music since forever. music tells a story about the musician, look at Reba, Talyor Swift, Rihanna, alan jackson, michael Jackson, they all wrote about their life and what they were going through. and that is what these lovely ladys did. yeah it offended a lott of people but every heartbreak/hate song does that...these ladies are amazing and they produce wonderful music. keep it up ladiess!!

  • @pinkelephants20 i love the Dixie chicks they're best at what they do

  • i think Kris Kristopherson wrote this song also elvis etc had versions too dixie chicks didnt write it

  • Wonderful....

  • @pinkelephants20 You said "They all wrote about their lives" and "That is what these lovely ladys (sic) did" That implies they wrote this.

  • @frank11598 did i say "wow they wrote an awesome song"? No i said they are good at what they do. so i have no idea where your comment is coming from.

  • @pinkelephants20 um, the Chicks did not write it this song it's an oldie - even Elvis did it.

  • Wow! Beautiful! Boy, people were tough on the Chicks---compared to what celebrities have said over the past few years--well, I just wish they were still together with Natalie singing lead.

  • or Mrs. Pashdir, why do da rich eat da rich and da sick feed da sick, dares more to life den wachu only see

  • this is probably one of the greatest songs ever sung, and most beautifully by Natalie Maines
