Some lawmakers want to penalize such shop owners, but NRA tries to stop the essential record-keeping. NRA also insists that gun shows allow instant sales with no background checks, to permit sales of assault weapons, and to limit sharing of gun registration data by law officers. NRA is responsible for aiding and abetting criminals. Law enforcement officers get no help from the NRA.
