this song came on my roommate's alarm clock one morning and all day I was agonizing over what song it is. Just today - literally a few minutes ago - I finaly figured out some of the lyrics and here I am! Thank God for YouTube, lol.

There IS good music out there that has been made since the '80s, but since MTV turned from being 24 hour music videos back in the day, it became a lot harder for us to find -- it doesn't just come to your TV anymore, you have to go out and look for it.
And you have to sift through a massive pile of junk in the process. Surely there's a blog or two out there...

It amazes me how many people post on these tracks from the 80s. It shows how underated that era was, and now we have spent 20 years listening to rubbish, it proves how good this stuff really was, but its like an old painting - only appreciated once it becomes old.
