@2mirandas you can use any markers or pencil crayons but you need to first sand the shrink plastice in 2 different directions on one side. Thats what holds the colour on for you. :)

Actually to let the inks stay on ur supposed to sand down one side of the shrinky dink paper, one side will become frosted the frosted side is where u should stamp on! ;)

Does the ink from the markers rub off? I'd always heard you couldn't use water based markers on shrinky dinks...

You can use a toaster oven also, in fact it works better than a heat gun because it's more even heat.

you can only use the heat gun to shrink the plastic? i mean it wont work with a hair dryer?
i really want to try and make some charms but i dont have a heat gun is there anything else i can use?

Where did you purchase the shrink plastic?

I think this is a great idea to showcase certain stamps!
I purchased the shrink plastic awhile back at Office Max or Staples. I have not looked for it lately though, I wouldn't be surprised if Michaels or Joann Fabrics also carried it.

I just subscribed to your videos! I'm enjoying them, wish I could get organized enough to do some more. I thought this would be a good idea for our designer series paper too, to put them on a keychain of some kind? Thanks for the feedback!
