This is great. How ever Im not sure when I go to do the full matte layer fade why mine is not able to come up,
I only have a twist fade in mine.
Im thinking this is because your using CS3 and Im on CS4. The regular fade seems to be missing all together.

For design there is of course the Adobe programs but some others I would recommend are:
- Pixelmator for photoshop work ( it is no way near as feature rich as Photoshop but it is much much faster than Photoshop and the features it does have are better implemented. It's getting updated very fast and is very promising)
-VectorDesigner for basic vector stufff ( I think illustrator is way way better option though )
-ColorSchemer Studio 2.0 to get some amazing color schemes in no time

Mac is a great platform and you can run windows within OS X using VMware Fusion ( great for checking out browser and platform compatibility)
Development I recommend:
- Espresso(ftp and coding) with CSSEdit( best CSSeditor I've ever seen ) both are made by MacRabbit really good combination.
- Coda by Panic is an all in one app with FTP, coding and css editor.
Mike,
I have been working with motion and final cut pro on the mac this software makes creating preloaders, movie clips and animation easy, then you can import the FLV into flash and code it rather than having some of the limitations that flash has when creating motion tweens. I have a few questions for you if you dont mind answering them.

I'm always willing to answer any questions. But I'm not really an expert in that area of motion and animation. My expertise is really with web design, UI layout, graphic design, HTML/CSS, etc.

I was just wondering why you do not use a Mac? It's got some really good website developing/designing apps!

Just creature of habit. I'm thinking about switching to a mac, lot of my buddies keep getting on me about it. What are some apps you would recommend?
