A great feature nobody has mentioned about this particular GPS is it works VERY well as a MP3 player. Using the Garmin audio out jack (with a cheap patch cord) into the front panel aux input of my indash head unit-- I am able to carry hundreds of CDs on just a few SD cards. Ripping at 320kpbs-- the sound quality is indistinguishly close to original source.
High quality GPS, MSN features, MP3,large POI database, Garmin online support and current DEEP discounts (Google it) = great value
luv it!! thanks for the tour. i've definitely made up my mind which system i'm going to buy...and this Tom Tom I got for Christmas is heading back to its home on the shelf at Sears.
I purchased a C580 for a birthday gift for my Mom-- then after seeing how versatile it is-- I bought one for me. Currently, these can be had for $180 new and are untouchable GPS units at that price.
Thanks Pcmedianet for an excellent overview of the features-- great job!
how does it get the msn data
of satalites, cellular, connect to phone, connect to computer
