SunTrust Bank consumer fraud & disrespect of Federal Reserve, when Sun Trust customer files inquiry & complaint with the Federal Reserve, SunTrust cancels customer's account w/out forewarning, maliciously inflicting harm, intentional pain, suffering & embarrassment on its former customer. SunTrust unethical & cruel business practices harm and defraud bank customer, closing his bank account but not sending the positive balance with the letter of cancellation. I received an email on May 29, 2010 from another disgruntled SunTrust customer saying: "I was initially told my account was closed by SunTrust due to a business decision on 5/27/10. Now I am being told my account is on hold. SunTrust has no justifiable cause to hold my funds being all of my funds have been from payroll direct deposit and cash."

I purchased my first home and the builder's set me up with Suntrust Mortgage. I realize they got all kind the trick and strategy to scam by law citizen money. lower customer credit record but end up its their inadvertently clerical error. Suntrust mortgage and the scam they used is so unethical. why are they still open??

Someone tried to wire me a bad check. I never touched the money. Suntrust still took that amount, and my remaining good balance, closed my account and will not send me my remaining positive balance. The Cobb County sheriff's office advised me that Suntrust is in the wrong, and I should get a lawyer. Anyone know of a lawyer already handling this cases against Suntrust? I'm facing eviction while Suntrust plays with my positive balance on hold, and they don't care.

My former roommate had an account with Suntrust in Norfolk, VA. They charged him $2.00 to go inside and make a deposit, so he would deposit his paycheck in the night drop slot. Problem is they were constantly "losing" his deposit (resulting in overdraft fees). When he called them to say "what the f#*k" they would find it 2 days later. I didn't believe him until my boss told me the same thing was happening to her.
