  • So my gameplay oughta be performing at a high setting with out any problems RIGHT. But during my running and gunning, it starts off fast and after few minutes in, it slows down for a seconds than speeds up again. Y is that? I mean it plays off really smooth in certain area's like crystal smooth but drops down fast. I'm not sure Y?. even when i have nothin else running but the game? It sould be performing well, yeah think?

  • @ricochetnative No, you won't be able to max out !every! game with that system and proper 3DMark score for particular hardware doesn't imply that. For example, with single core Pentium 4 3.4GHz processor and GF7800GS+ I used to score ~4000 points, which was also considered normal for that system. As a gaming machine, it could hardly run any newer game now. You should try lowering your game settings a little bit , since your processor a little outdated to comply with gaming standarts of today.

  • Hi, my computer has AMD Phenom X4 9500 @ 2200MHz Physical Memory................3072 Video Card..........................Nvidia GeForce 9800 GTX/9800 GT+ and I ran the CPU benchmark in your video and the test was at 1-2 Fps, but in the end my score turn out to be 8869 3dMarks, is that about right. If NOT what can I do?

  • @ricochetnative Hi there, 8869 3dmarks is a proper score for such a hardware!

  • Is it possible to run that test with 20fps?

  • @100flobby Hi, I was pretty impressed with my xfx 9600gt, I was getting 10,777 I just upgraded to a xfx gtx 285 and it got 14,177 I thought that isnt much of an increase, but it plays the games I have ok :)

  • Oh hold up - i just put my old card back in and it does appear to be going as low as the 5970 - looks like my other components are the bottleneck. Still, i cant help but thinking that my processor just isnt the bottleneck here - recommended specs for BFBC2 are a Quad core @ 2 ghz, when mines a quad core @ 2.4 ghz. Still, now i know what the bottleneck is, and it will be fixed with my new system.

  • @kniaugaudiskis That still doesnt explain how in BFBC2 my lowest FPS with the 9600GT is around 38 fps whilst the lowest FPS with the 5970 is around 30fps on the same system.

  • @100flobby 10195 is a normal score for 9600GT. As you see, it is almost pushing your Phenom to its limits (its 1 core to be precise, since 3DMark06 game tests utilize only 1 core), let alone HD5970, which is something like 3.5+ times faster than 9600GT on average.
