Ukrainians have klled hundreds of thousands of Jews in the last 3 centuries during their various "rebellions", not even including the WWII. By going back to Uman these Jews are doing a great thing by saying to these Uks: "We're back, you haven't killed us all", haha.

It's the eve of a holiday birolx, and the people are on a pilgrimige, so there's quite a carnival atmosphere.
If you were there the next day you'd see how they pray. It's more dignified. Obviously the chubby kid ina kaplush doesn't do his trance routine during prayer.
