EG Sideroad Uphill

Got the Civic out to the hill....Its a good deal faster on the straights then my old Spec Miata but overall about 17 seconds slower up the hill:(

Its a EX coupe w/ basic B16A, Ground Control coilovers, Tokico HP's, Hawk HPS pads, drums out back, no sway bars, Falken Azenis 205/50/15. Car handles ok but too much understeer. Motor falls out of the powerband on the upshift and lacks the torque of my Miata.

Maybe NA ratios, my 1.8 is perfect on ridge staying in 3rd almost the entire middle section, then going into 2nd on the tight corners on either end.

This EG has perfect ratios though for backside if you carried a bit more speed. or go downhill!
