its great how the title (el malmas) makes you re-perceive everything in that film...

very good effort regarding variety of locations and actors... one thing i think could've been better: it was too emotional along the 8 minutes of the film (empashized by music), i-as a viewer- needed an emotional break to feel the sadness again..

good job, keep it up

Manal Samir's story of Zeina is one story of kids who work hard from job to job.Then her dad put her working as a maid in a home.The touch, can mean the tenderness that she misses in her life. The connection she had with this object and this cat is something that these kids miss having. She grew up too fast without having a chance to be a kid. Zeina is like thousands of kids who don't get a chance.

A touching film and heartbreaking story. So glad at least for the cat to represent some tenderness, comfort, affection and that softness so craved by the little girl.

Sadder still is that truth can often be worse than fiction.
