Katy Perry did a demo of this track and gave it to Kelly Clarkson (just like she did with I Do Not Hook Up)
I just thought i'd put them together (badly) for a comparison =)

Kelly's voice is more technically perfect, but Katy did write this song and I think her version is more raw and her own, whereas Kelly's seems more generic. Both great, but I personally prefer Katy's.

@StarStruk90 also I watche kelly with the national athem, and obiviously she used to be much better, her voice is weaker, Demi Lovato did better.

@StarStruk90 and Katy knows how to sing, she had 7 years of song classes, if she had to perform in such a important event, obiviously she would prepare, and she sucks sometimes, because of that she don't prepare, doing over 100 concerts in a year plus the converts in tv shows, she shoudn't have time to think about preparation.

@lucaschermontsantos I didn't say Katy can't sing but compared to Kelly she has the vocal ability of a child.And what's that about me not watching half of her live performances?I don't need to. if she sounds bad on a couple of them, why do i need to watch them all?And how do you know i can't sing? Katy is on the top of her game because she sells sex with music.I don't know how old you are but nowadays most teenagers can't tell the difference between talent and gimmick.

@StarStruk90 and being a singer is not only about singing, this is being a media product, let everyone do everything for you, than all you need to do is singing, Katy worked hard to get where she is, while kelly simply won a singing competition, think again before calling Katy talentless, also she can play 2 instruments!! can Kelly do that? no and she's becoming forgotten, while Katy is in the top of her career.no matter what you say she came to stay.
