Fern Luskin is trying to have the city landmark a house on her block which was used as an underground railroad station.

  • Fern was a childhood neighbor in Rockland Co. Googled her name on impulse & was amazed to see her work on the Gibbons' home. I was especially touched by Fern's description of the Gibbonses as "Schindlers" of their time. My family moved in 1967 to a farmhouse in Elizabethtown, NY -John Brown's body laid in state in E'town on its way to burial near Lake Placid. We were told that our home -built in 1825 was probably a stop on the "underground r&r'. My wife & I are in VA. God bless you, Fern. Geoff
