  • Speed enforcement is against our civil liberties

  • I don't understand the logic of what you say? How are mobile cameras any different from Gatsos in that they do nothing above and beyond to catch dangerous drivers. They still 'flood' the area every day since?

Explain the advantages of the LTI 20.20 Speedscope compared to the static unit?

  • Lollygaggle: Wilts police flooded the area with mobile units the other day.

Drivers applauded the action. We want police back on our roads and in our neighbourhoods....

This was never about drivers having a free rein, it's about the dangerous drivers getting taken off our roads, something gatsos cannot do.

  • Let's not forget North Somerset Council withdrew camera funding a year ago, they were the first long before Swindon. All GATSO housings in the NSC area are just empty boxes.

However, now the police will be doing mobile enforcement in Swindon, they can do it wherever they like, with no warning signs, meaning you come around a corner & 'zap' you are prosecuted, sat nav or Road Angel will not warn you either.

Drivers in Swindon are now completely screwed, they'll soon realise no cause to cheer.

  • So they are actually going to go I hear today! Well Done Swindon!

On car safety, please see my video 'criminals operate in this car park'. Although Asda Sutton is used in the video - I'm sure its pretty much the same at all there stores. Thanks!

  • Lol nice video, i live in swindon makes a change for us to make national news.

I do some work in a radio station so i have heard it all god knows how many times still makes me think Good on ya Swindon :D
