She kept competing until very recently. She retired right after the 2009 University Games.

Zamo competing in december 2008 in Madrid, she's best ever, speed, tumbling, style.

Russia is fighting to remain on top. They are competing with pride and passion. That's why Zamo cried, because you NEVER EVER saw a russian or former soviet doing such a thing like that.

it's like zamo wants to tell kramarenko, "hey girl, this is what you should've done!"
i really hate kramarenko for doing that..
makes me sad thougt watched it for couple of times..:(

i felt so sorry for Elena during this vault. it didn't even matter what she did to contribute. :( it's amazing she was able to do a vault like that through the tears.

Aww! Zamo looks so upset-she knew it was over before she even ran down the vault runway. I feel bad for Kramarenko-how horrible to balk when the score counts towards your team's total! :(
