the neck and entire guitar are 63. I have verified with Fender that it was not uncommon for a 64 logo to shop up on a 63 if assembled in early 1964. It is the original logo, nothing has ever been done to the neck, fully original...so thanks for the info, but it is a pre-CBS logo, as in pre-65.
