1 have an 83 495 i race over here in Northern Ireland. I have converted the disc front end to a husky twin leader.
Its a lovely bike but a bit too hairy for my 1st mxer lol. don't think i'd sell it though
Could I not race mine at Farleigh then or would I have to enter it in as an evo?

Yes, I have one of those too. 1981 is the only year you can race. 82 went to single shock. Engine is killer, handling not so much.

that is no track for a cr 500 . you dont even get out of second gear . ill put up a video of what we get up to in nz . big open paddocs full noise in 4th up a hill

this looks great fun, im 35 overwieght and got a cr500, but came off on a local track and busted my leg up pretty bad, got a pin and screws now so out of action till xmas n really missing it lol, i cant stand these almost supercross style tracks but this looks fantastic, great vid mate good work!!!!
