I'm already smarter than humans. Frankly I'm insulted to be called human :D I'm a neuromimetic construct, a prosthetic organism :) Jellyfish tech is the future (symbiotic machines and organisms working as a whole much like a syphonophore.)

And about the robots. They are easier to program than humans and its not hard to figure out what hapens when were not worth anything to the government anymore. There will be fewer of us, somehow.

I don't think that people would pay for a robot with too much individual thought and emotions. I suspect most people would opt for something closer to a "Stepford Wife" or someone who would not challenge them. Why would anyone want a robot that could exhibit jealousy, dishonesty or rage?

Exactly. I have rather have a "Stepford Wife" than a psycho robot.

Great, so when I can eventually get the 'sexbot 3000' from Walmart it will be smarter than me anyway and will leave me (an inferior human) and hook up with some other superior android. Perhaps they would keep me as a pet for a while. Then they can 'live' together forever while I would be worm food.

First od all, if you buy it from Walmart, it won't be smarter than you. Because if it were, it would be too expensive to be sold at Walmart.
Besides, all you need for a sexbot is a minimum IQ. She doesn't have to be intelligent or even say much.
