  • driving like this holds up traffic ! therefore causing other drivers to waste fuel trying pass slow drivers and sitting traffic jams idling cuz ppl drive to slowly on highways especiall when merging onto from ramps. i tried it doesnt work in real life.

  • you mention about stoping the engine when idle for 30 minutes or so...but doesn't it affect the starter? I mean the more you stop and start the engine the more the battery and starter(bendix) will be used..so...you save a bit on the gas but you pay for repair?! Another tip I can giwe: don't run the engine in neutral. Just leave it in gear. It consumes less fuell. (when going downhill for example)
