Hunted - Max Vernon

For class I had to write a narrative song referencing a literary work, so I decided to write about Grendel from Beowulf haha. The piano part during the verse was kind of inspired by a lot of the Ravel i've been listening to and watching videos of lately- and kind of has a Tori Amos-y kind of feel, but then the chorus I feel is very stylistically different.

I imagine in my head barbershop choruses and horns and weird native american sounding production for this song haha. ONE DAY!

well i guess my hair is grungey but I really have to disagree with the other two comparisons. I really can't think of any 70's musical equivalent, and as much as I am a huge fan of 60's fashion as far as a I know men weren't wearing plaid leggings and wood print cardigans. but thanks for insulting my music, luv ya too!

Hmmm...insults ? How interesting that ignore my accolades for your talent. Typical youth, always quick to defend without looking at the big picture. You don't need retro back or come off with all the typical artist cliche. Be an original, cut your hair, dress like a DMV worker or an average guy. But let your music turn the earth into a supernova. You already got the talent of a composer, you don't need the cliches to water down your music (that was a compliment by the way).

can you spare me the condescension/backhanded "compliments" just because you're 40 something and therefore think you've had some profound revelation. your assumption that i'm wearing any kind of facade to affect creativity is profoundly insulting. i've been this way my whole life, following my own muse, and thus far all it's really attained for me is token "faggot" insults. so don't tell me how to be an artist, and i won't tell you how to be a presumptuous twat, you seem very capable at that.
