I have had it approved by Car Seat Safety Technicians, developed it along the guidelines that they suggest for wearing something in the car seat, and have passed it on the "put it on and tighten the belt, take it out and check the straps" test. Not to mention, it's easy to use and vary coverage for in or out of the car. :)
