Humboldt Redwoods State Park. Scene 1 is near where the South Fork Eel River meets up with the Eel River (where the rail bridge).

@bhimalnaraine: go for it! You should do it during the summer time when the weather is nice and make sure there's no baffler on your chainsaw so that you can make a whole lotta noise that will resonate through the whole forest!

Looks like you got there just after the rain, judging by the full river. If you ever get over to Prairie Creek redwoods sometime, see if the info center folk may know where to find the:
VALLEY OF THE LOST GROVES
You may need to twist their arm, and that's if they happen to know. One of the secret groves not on a map.

This reminds me of an unplanned road trip I took to the redwoods with my sister a long time ago; I never could find the exact spot we went to again but this video makes me nostalgic nonetheless.
