@BuddyWillis Yes, all these films are Italian productions filmed in Almeria, Spain and the Tabernas Desert. Hence the term "Spaghetti Western".

eli wallach was the real star of this movie; he stole the movie.
TIME magazine dismissed the movie when it was released with a review that was about 5 paragraphs long!
And then there's...fascist...spain; spain was still fascist when all these movies were being made--- communist countries wouldn't allow liberal hollywood to make movies in the communist countries that liberal hollywood loved.
