I remember this game. Pretty cool. I actually added a night version to this game. (The C64 version had a night version where you had a flashlight, so I added that feature to the Atari version as well.)

Cool. I only modified a type-in game once, though I think it was in Antic Magazine. It was a Tetris clone, and it was written in a low-rez mode that made the blocks fall too fast for my taste. So I put it in a higher rez mode. It was cool reaching a point where I felt like I understood how the whole thing worked, and I could manipulate it.
The listings were educational, but I'd usually only get a few new skills out of them. I didn't try to understand the whole thing.
