@DaytonaRoadster. Having a C&R does not change what you're legally allowed to possess in your locality. A C&R allows you to engage in collecting activities directly with other C&R holders. If the firearm in question is a C&R firearm you can ship it directly between C&R holders, across state lines, without needing to use an FFL for the transfer. This applies to C&R machine guns as well as other C&R guns. If you have a C&R holder you really need to read the manual.

To my knowledge the only manufacturer of 30 round mags for the Reising M50 is Ken Christie. H&R only produced 12 and 20 round mags during WWII. There are a few hobbyists who have produced limited numbers of mag conversions, such as a 50 round drum mag. Good luck!

If you're lawfully allowed to possess a machine gun in the U.S. and your state (NFA rules and state laws apply), you can purchase one from a licensed Machine Gun Dealer. Or, since this is a C&R item, if you have a C&R FFL you can purchase one directly from a current owner.

Well, the AK can't even be classified because it can't be imported in original config, the M16 isnt 50 years old... yet... wait until ~2013 and lets see what the ATF does with it.

you cant get one with a C&R, its a restricted item, i have a C&R and they dont allow M-16 and AK-47 rifles in C&R, and they more than qualify
