EXCUSE THE MUSIC..IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO REMOVE
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
A SUFI MASTER WHO HAD TRUE LOVE FOR ALLAH (SWT)
MAULANA RUMI DID NOT SPREAD HOMOSEXUALITY AMONGST THE SUFI'S----..WHY WOULD A SPIRITUAL MASTER LIKE MAULANA RUMI(ALLAH BE PLEASED WITH HIM) DO THAT????? ----PLEASE TAKE YOUR KNOWLEDGE FROM AUTHENTIC SOURCES NOT FROM YOUR OWN THOUGHTS & OPINIONS, HEARSAY & INACCURATE SOURCES AS THIS CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS FOR YOUR IMAAN(FAITH)...MAULANA RUMI WAS A FRIEND OF ALLAH..IF YOU SAY OR DO ANYTHING AGAISNT THE FRIEND OF ALLAH..THEN ALLAH DECLARES WAR ON YOU,,,
FINALLY..LOVE FOR THE SAKE OF ALLAH SHOULD NOT BE CONFUSED WITH HOMOSEXUALITY....

furthermore:You asked about the relationship between Hazrat-e Mevlana and Hz. Shamsu 'd-din of Tabriz.
First of all, it is necessary to understand that in Persian sufi poetry, the word "lover" [`âshiq] means being a lover of God. And in the paths of sufism that view the mystic seeker as the lover and God as the Beloved, it means a true dervish. Therefore, "the lovers" are the lovers of God. So in this sense Mevlana and Shams certainly were "(spiritual) lovers." ..on other words they loved each other for the sake of Allah...those who love one another for the sake of Allah will be under the shade of Allah, on the day of qiyamah; Hope this helps to resolve popular misconceptions about the relationship between Hazrat-e Mevlana (Rumi) and Hz. Shams. As Mevlevis, we should defend the honor of the great saints of God [awliyâ 'ullâh] such as these, who were the founders of our tradition. (And may Allah forgive people for their own suspicions!)

In 2007, Mawlana Rumi was described as the "most popular poet in America."
At the proposal of the Permanent Delegations of Afghanistan, Iran, and Turkey, and as approved by its Executive Board and General Conference in conformity with its mission of "constructing in the minds of men the defences of peace", UNESCO was associated with the celebration, in 2007, of the eight hundredth anniversary of Rumi's birth. The commemoration at UNESCO itself took place on 6 September 2007;UNESCO issued a medal in Rumi's name in the hope that it would prove an encouragement to those who are engaged in research on and dissemination of Rumi's ideas and ideals, which would, in turn, enhance the diffusion of the ideals of UNESCO - 2007 was declared as the "International Rumi Year" by UNESCO.
However as muslims we DO NOT celebrate poeple's birthdays and 'anniversaries of birthdays'.
Celebrating one's birthday is forbidden in islam - lets wake up to the reality.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Say muslim not 'muzlim' as muzlim means oppressor and muslims are not opressors!!!!
listen to the video, the narrator says muzlim.....we've made this an example presented to you in this video, so avoid saying using muzlim and use muslim pronounced (muslim) and correct others also whether they be muslims or non-muslims.
