  • Was that a blue screen at the beginning?

  • The specs of this lens make me wonder how it would go combined with macro extension tubes. I really hate the false advertising of calling close up lenses macro when only 1:2.7 but with extension tubes, I assume you'd have quite a high magnification considering its 24mm. How smooth is the focusing ring? I'd be interesting to see what you could achieve with some extension tubes, a focusing rail, & this 24mm f/1.8 prime using focal stacking.

  • @alanemail11 sure, I have some tubes, why not.

  • Matt, it would be interesting to discover how the Sigma performs at 2.8 and your 24-70 at 24 wide open. In theory, the Sigma at 2.8 should be sharper but theory gets trumped from time to time.

  • @hoddo1812 Sure thing - am planning to compare against the 24-70 and the 14-24.
