More Home:Word drafts from the cutting room floor...

This was a draft of a chorus idea prior to the first Home for the Holla'Days concert (2009) where the close to final version was created. Before Holla'Days 1, the kernel of the song was just a piano riff by Chucky Kim and a "gotta gotta" refrain idea from Kongo (David Kong). Chuck, being a bassist, had this groove as more of a funk groove, and I laid the drums down and had some more refrain ideas going that emphasized, you know, "home." The moment where things really changed was when Jaron Lum ("Postcards," "Fukushima") played the piano riff and made it really graceful, as he does whenever he plays keys. Sam "Captain Hook" Kang came through in the clutch at the end of rehearsal prior to the Holla'Days 1 concert and boom, on the spot, wrote that memorable chorus we all now know. I must say, it felt like magic.

Keys - Chucky Kim
Drums, percussion - Taiyo Na
Visuals - An Rong Xu
