NZ Amateur Boxing Team verses USA Boxing Team. Held in Invercargill, New Zealand. 1997. Regan Foley beats Jeff 'left hook' Lacy over 5 x 2minute rounds for the 2nd time (1st fight was held in Wanganui, NZ only 5days earlier in which Regan won a split decision). The rematch was a tense affair between the two. Jeff Lacy went on to turn pro and win the WBA Super Middleweight Title defending the title successfully 4 time before losing to Joe Calzaghe

  • WEll done Regan. Imagine if Regan didn't get injured? He could've been WBA champ, and one of NZ's greatest boxers.

  • Regan would have fought 4 the world title if he didn't injure his hand...He was my first boxing coach an i can't remember ever landing a clean punch on him...He has a real heavy jab 4 his weight.
