Tough news for the Cubs on Wednesday as their left fielder Alfonso Soriano will miss 6 weeks with a broken left hand. Soriano was hit by a pitch thrown by Braves pitcher Jeff Bennett. Mark DeRosa should see action in leftfield. Gallagher has been good at home sporting a 3-0 record and a 3.54 ERA. On the road it has been a different story with a 0-2 record and an ERA near 6. AJ Burnett got lit up last time out giving up 8 earned runs in 4 1/3rd's innings of work against Baltimore. In 5 starts at home Burnett sports an ERA of 9 and teams are batting .306 against him. The Jays have lost 5 of 7 through Wednesday's action and the bullpen sits with an ERA near 6 in that stretch. Even with Soriano out for the Cubs bet on offense in this game. Play this one over 9 ½ runs.
