secon test run of my st-50 gas turbine... still some gremlin to kick out... it seems like it looses its pressure while running hence the sound variation... at a certain time you can clearly see that i'm not toutching the throttle and the engine is varying in speed... also seems like it drinks a little oil... crap...

and the feckin huge 12v motor for the fuel pump sucked ALL the juice off my bigass 12v marine deep discharge battery in about less than 10 mins...lol also it almost drank all the diesel tank in this test LOL

any question/comments feel free to ask/post!! :)

  • How does your fuel system work? do u vaporize the fuel or use hi-psi atomizing nozzles?

  • @pkrollp i run fuel straight form the pump to a bypass valve pressure regulation system then into a naked oil burner nozzle into the flame tube... not more than 60-80 psi of fuel... i should really make a vaporizer for it... it wouls run way better

  • trust ???

  • @locopoko001 not in that vid as it was barely off idle... never ran it past 1/2 throttle so i dont really know lol it wa sputted on the back burner for others projects...

  • @lemegacool89 omg thank u so much

  • @cacneaunit6 the turbo pushes SO much air that it compresses inside the combustion chamber, the turbine wheel also crates some restriciton witch allows some backpressure... i know its hard to believe but thats how it works...

  • @lemegacool89 thanks but how does it gain pressure when its open at 2 sides

  • @cacneaunit6 it spins using combustion from diesel in a pressurized chamber.

  • How dose the turbine spin

  • it should flow about 1.6 lbs/sec...
