@BigHeartedMan65 You got it right! Drum & Bugle corps used to play BUGLES (G), not the trumpets they now have.

Had you used REAL "G" BUGLES they would of been THREE TIMES LOUDER ... Remember BACK when Hornlines were only 40 stronge and LOUD AS ALL GET OUT ??? Maybe you all need to TRY "G" BUGLES and see how they work out for you ....
