Props to the guy for getting out there to test his stuff. Sloppy, but I'd look much worse.

omg this fight sucks! best thing about the video is the music...lame
-
he needs to work on his stand up
-
that university guy is FAT.
-
not so good, very dirty, and last minute desperation.

Harsh comments. Everybody has to start somewhere. For your information the rules were very free, and head-butt, elbows and knees were allowed on a 30 mn round. With such rules it is hard to look as good as in the gym.
Aaron did what he had to do with the tools he had to finish the fight uninjured. I would say that is pretty good.
To me itid when just look that

The music is misleading.
Not the worst fight,
but not the best.
Any fight I have had with someone untrained has not lasted more than a minute.
A professional fight, maybe 10 minutes.
But a lot more action than this.
Sorry, but good try anyway.

True, no BJJ in China but there are ground works practised by various martial art styles originated in Hebei, including Chuo Jiao and Shuai Jiao. Both fighters look amateurish.

sorry to burst your bubble but Qinghua doesn't have a sanshou TEAM, it's a club, not a funded sport. your boy owned a hobby fighter. throw down with a sanshou fighter from an actual gym, and it'd be a closer match. congrats on the win, but you may want to consider relabeling this vid.

Its a funded club that represents Qinghua at University events isnt it? Anyway, if opponent was a pro from BUPE or Qianwei, or 8-1, the result would be the same barring a very lucky shot. There is virtually no BJJ practiced by elite sanda fighters in China. So, in the land of the blind, the one-eyed-man is king.
